I have one, and the car has a really badly running engine, if the gas pedal is pressed 2% the car wants to stall, and the whole package feels like is has 130 horsepower.... Any ideas what could be the cause?

Worked perfectly on my BMW 325Ti. I didn't even have to remove the number plate light as it was broken . I just removed the bulb. Tested for positive with my multimeter. Connected my 14v 100A charger . Negative to the exhaust tail piece. Positive, using a nail in the one end of my multimeter probe and the other end I touched the positive terminal on the trail light and voila I had power and opened the car by pressing the open button on the fob. Easy peasy. Thanx for the great video.

Beautyfull but you have nothing on stock for a lot of products need to wait 2 months and on the end you are not delivering and give massage we dont have it. And the quality and durability of carbon trunk is sooooo baaaaad! . Need to watch out before i order carbon things. All the other good quality and shipment is fast if it is in stock mostly not :)

How many hours did the whole project take? I will have to do the same job in the states. I have been quoted 33 hours for engine removal and installation 3 hours for rod bearings and 1.5 hours for water pump and thermostat removal and installation.

I love my little Si! I found a one owner Si with full documentation at BMW Munchen with the upgraded engine from 2016. New coilover suspension and some minor chassi tweaks makes it very impressive on curvy roads, very understated and looked over car! It is a bit intresting that they used the gearbox from the Z4 because it is shorter and suits better when the engine is moved back, together with a shorter section of the propshaft. The also have 4:10 rear axle ratio and the suspension is no regular M sport setup but tweaked especially for the Si. A note is that the Vanos is still on the engines but the Valvetronic is gone because it didn't like the high revs and was a risk for problems in racing so instead they use a regular throttle flap.

Can this also cause oil leaks that can cause blue smoke coming out of exhaust pipes possibly?

The N45 is a good base for a Turbo.

They didn't show you the tear down because its a peace of piss. Take things off put back on. They dont want you to see because like me i did this at home. as long as you take your time and video the whole tear down then your ok. There is plenty of help on youtube guys. dont get ripped. I've been doing my own repairs and service to all my BMWs and friends too for 30 years. Its frightening at first but once you have all the plastic off its a regular V8 engine with a little more additional up to date protection. My 15 year old boy did his friends 1998 M5 E39 in our Garage while i was on holiday. Do it ..just do it.

Would this work on vw Passat 2011 b7 ? Connect 12v to rear number plate light, car battery is disconnected with locked doors then closed bonnet arghhhhhh 😢😢😢😢😢 emergency plastic key doesn’t do anything when turn right or left. Need to find away to get in to open the bonnet & connect the battery again… help
